A blank canvas that found identity
For this project we had the opportunity to start from scratch, a completely blank space, in which its owners dreamed of a different experience for each area depending on its functionality. Inspired by the elegance of the Midcentury Modern style, wood, bronze and velvet were the design key.
Cozy design for a home in the mountains.
In this project we participated as interior designers together with a unique team of architects, engineers and landscape designers. For the interior design of this house, it was very important to respond to the architectural language, which is undoubtedly the protagonist of it, as it was also, to integrate the wishes of our clients in terms of comfort and functionalities of the house. Looking for a modern, rustic but refined and above all familiar mountain environment, we used neutral colors, where wood, in its various shapes and shades, managed to achieve the warm minimalism that was so desired.
Open spaces with individuality
In this project, we find a totally open space, where all the areas are connected. Different spaces with different functionality that needed character and their owners to see themselves reflected in them. Each space expresses its use, maintaining a coherence between one and the other, experimenting with elements such as: different ceiling heights, lighting, wallpaper, textures and materials, we achieve fluid and defined circulation in each area.
This is the second part of the ASJANA project. It was very important to feel the change in the formal and informal spaces, the coexistence and intimacy of each.
The greatness of small spaces
This was another blank canvas that came our way, with a reduced space, but for interior design, this is not a limitation. We resort to custom-made furniture and ceiling and lighting divisions to delimit each space and have different environments "Together but not scrambled". The selection of a neutral color palette was key to maintaining balance, and of course the use of different wood tones, this being the protagonist in the contrasts.
The perfect combination between aesthetics and functionality
This project was a challenge with the best results. Due to the nature of the work to be carried out in the space, our client wanted it to feel aesthetically clean, without losing the warmth and welcoming feeling that her clients should receive at the time of arrival. For this purpose we focused on the reception area having cozy lighting, accompanied by tones of wood and the green. The size of the premises was limited because all the furniture and spaces were designed to the millimeter for general functionality. We took advantage of the heights by installing tempered glass doors and divisions, providing grandeur to the corridor, a space where all areas converge.
A home and its sentimental pieces
This project shows us once again that we can restore the pieces that we already have and give a totally different aspect to the space, without getting rid of furniture that, although it is no longer in trend, continues to work. Pieces of more than 50 years, which give history and character to the house, and above all make it a home. Restoring all the old Mahogany furniture and reupholstering the furniture, we achieved a classic but more contemporary aesthetic, accompanied of course, by the correct lighting, were the main aspects of the intervention.
